      ... days - trench foot comes to mind - fills me with horror.

      On that topic, Rick's wellies fell apart yesterday. We think the culprit is the wonderful wellie-remover - a great invention which we wish we'd known about years ago - but on the other hand, he HAS had them for at least ten years. Luckily it's frosty so he can negotiate the mud a bit more easily and not completely destroy his regular walking boots.

      ... had a beer at the "Cricketers" pub ...Then of to Marks and Spencer where the girls did clothes shopping and then next door to the huge supermarket called Tesco ....then back home.       ... on the dogs as apparently 4 month old puppy Dudley can't be trusted for long. We had tea and cake before taking the dogs (see picture) around "the block". We helped picked tomatoes for dinner on the way home. Tom had got a fire going in the drawing room where we were told to wait until dinner was ready. Home grown veges and chicken pie! Followed by homemade black currant ice cream! Yum. We had a game of pingpong and banana Rama before bed. We letdown ...
