          ... in Las Vegas in early September so that did soften the good byes a bit. Elly and I then went for a drive to have a look at Donnington Castle and Highclere Castle(of Downton Abbey fame) unfortunately Highclere was closed to the public today so that was a pain.           ... nice group of ladies. Then out came the tiered cake stands with finger sized sandwiches and cakes. Many photos had been taken by this stage! This was followed by a plate of scones, still warm, with strawberry jam and clotted cream, delicious! If this wasn't enough, around came a waiter with two types of cake to chose from!!
