... went to the Swan pub in Compton for a light lunch of sandwiches – they were huge. Walked home and had a cup of tea and relaxing afternoon. We also did an evening walk to try to see Christmas lights. Some pretty ones but it is very dark here – much more so than in Adelaide. Jane is making a curry for tea. It has been lovely to be in their home. Excited about Alexander being on his way.
... take two photos ..had to delight on ad it had Denise's nose in it although it did almost fit into the picture landscape .....sorry Denis only jockeying Cut the day short due to the English weather eg lots of continuous rain..so what did we do you ask ..came home had a sleep of an hour the got stuck into the wine again till around 9.00pm then off to bed .. Only to be wide awake again at around 3.00 ...
... on the dogs as apparently 4 month old puppy Dudley can't be trusted for long. We had tea and cake before taking the dogs (see picture) around "the block". We helped picked tomatoes for dinner on the way home. Tom had got a fire going in the drawing room where we were told to wait until dinner was ready. Home grown veges and chicken pie! Followed by homemade black currant ice cream! Yum. We had a game of pingpong and banana Rama before bed. We letdown ...
