This morning were are heading back to Market H to take to the road, a more efficient means of transportation and then to come back to the boat and use it as lodgings. As we didn't arrive until 3.30 pm we went straight to the highly touristified ...

In Inverness we just stayed their and searched for Nessie the next day and in Stirling just rested. We got to Nottingham 2 days ago and ready to go to ...

My eldest, Alex, was back from Australia for a few weeks so this was a chance to take him and his brother James to see a few exciting things in Catalunya. I picked them up after work in Shrewsbury and we drove to Nottingham where we had an hotel for the night before an early flight the following day. Julie joined us there having got the train in from Birmingham and we had a night out in the city and a few beers and a decent Chinese meal before a reasonably early ...

The Sherwood Forest and Nottingham were on our way home. We decided to stop in for lunch and do a little hunt for Robin Hood! We didn't find him unfortunately, but we did find the Major Oak which is said to be where he would meet his Merry Men. It was a nice walk and FREE since we beat tourist season! ...
