... look, and a fairly strange Japanese boxed meal, before joining the crowd streaming towards the park along the shoreline. Many of the groups are carrying boat-shaped floats about 50 cm long and 25 wide, which have an open topped box on them made of translucent material, and a candle in the centre. Most have personal messages to departed loved ones written on the boxes.
