A little while after we returned to the hotel, we met up the rest of the group who spent the day in Miyajima and Hiroshima. We said our goodbyes to Yasutoshi, Haruna's dad as he is working tomorrow, but we made him promise to come visit us in Canada next time. (we would see Haruna's mom again tomorrow morning before our departure.

The Labo moms prepared an extensive and varied pot luck supper with many, many delicious dishes. One of the more interesting items we tried tonight was raw marinated whale meat, which was quite good.

The trip went pretty fast, except that I was a little asleep at the switch, and we missed getting off in Yamaguchi, as these trains do not stop for long.
