The Golf Suites Punta Cana

... was there...so near..<br>The lunch time was like a picnic in the Caribbean.<br>The afternoon was full of activities, beachvolley, snorkeling, dancing and relax!<br>The return hour arrive TOO early! and at 6.30 pm I was in my hotel again with the fantastic remember of nice people and a great experience.<br>WOW...that was nice but I have more incredible adventure for my next trip to the DR!<br>See you again...Bianca

... is so thick and the water so blue and clear, that we can't help but say "this is so awesome/cool/beautiful/neat/incredible" over and over and over again. After swimming in about 4 of the 11 lagoons we head back to find the group.<br><br>The evening passes as so: pool and dinner at La Tortuguita (cafeteria food for employees...pretty good, but apparently Sundays are not their best). ... back to the present: so the girls and I grab a beer at the Club and I meet the boys from the study abroad group. By the way there are 4 girls, 4 guys...kinda Real World style. <br><br>At 8pm go to dinner at a restaurant in the resort, which provides us with a limited menu covered under my lodging fee at the EF. Fui en el autobus a el Parque Nacional del Este. Fui a acampar en el parque y fui a pescar en el agua. Fui a subir en las arboles. Fue a estar fenomenal. Fui a ver los animales. Muchos iguanas en la Republica de Dominicana. La Republica de Dominicana tiene muchos animales. En el Parque Nacional del Este, fui a comer bocadillos.

... not only to spend uninterruptible time together, relax, enjoy the sun and the sea...but also - to get a little break from the reality, so to speak - from the weird ever-changing weather, constant depressing news of apocalyptic stock market and crumbling economy, desperate attempts of the clueless government to fix things up...all that... our little "paradise of choice" this year happened to be Punta Cana, Dominican Republic ...we spent six ...

... tried to learn how to windsurf. We also went swimming with sea lions, a highlight for me. It was a great trip, although the last day and the few days after were unfortunately ruined by both of us getting pretty sick...Montezuma's Revenge claimed its latest victims!<br>

... not a great deal of seaweed that the resort beach had but other than that, there was nothing too special about it. After spending a couple of hours on the beach we headed via speedboat to the "Natural Swimming Pool" where the area in the ocean was shallow enough to wade and swim in. Danielle found a starfish and that's what this little area is known for. The trip was an all day event and we were pretty worn out at the end of it.

... sure I will not feel out of place again...I learned a lot of lessons after this trip - I'd say that is the only savings grace...<br><br>I know I won't stay at another Club Med - very disappointed in it. And despite my horrible time I cannot really blame DR for the bad time, as I didn't even leave the resort - but the bad taste has been left and I will just never go back! <br>

... things really started to bother me. The hotel really tries to get you to interact with staff and other guests - which just really isn't my style. ... and I had to fight with the airline to wait for her as she had FINALLY arrived and was trying to get past security. I had to threaten to not get on the plane unless she was there in order to get them to wait the extra 2 minutes - luckily she got there and we were able to continue on our way. <br><br>When we arrived we checked into Club Med. It was an all inclusive resort and we had booked our trips separately as we were leaving from different ...
