... tissues to wipe their tears, and I , too, am moved by this parade. A friend of mine said that he has never had such a moving moment in his life, on any 28th October ever!

It is time to leave, and we are ready for our second destination this day. Women show each other what they have bought, and they are all so happy to have had such touching moments out here. Everyone seems to be excited and a good sign of a successful trip!

Pano Lefkara, Larnaca, Cyprus greekcypriot... was very friendly and helpful. The local beer was very nice. Keo. The waiter showed us some other places on our map to go visit while we walked around. Had a look at a local fruit and vege market which was quite good but much the same as ours only with a few different products like dates, little fish etc. Headed back on the shuttle at 2pm which was long enough. Had a rest and then went to Oasis to watch sail out. Clocks back 1 hour and I don't know why.
Limassol, Cyprus stephgraeme... way out is to go to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and try and get a ferry to main land Turkey. We have tried asking people in the Republic about this, but this is taboo. No one in the Republic (except our drunk hostelier, who really doesn't give reliable information) will talk about Northern Cyprus let alone tell you how to get out of there.

OH! and by the way the rule is ...
Limassol, Cyprus dinoshona... hard to find a
church, although in retrospect we could have tried a bit harder. We
got into Limassol and once again struggled a bit trying to find the
hotel but we managed. We went out for a wander and lunch and then
had a leisurely afternoon by the pool. That night we discovered the
old castle and tried the meat mezze. It was a nice night and
Limassol proved to be a worthwhile stop in Cyprus.
Limassol, Cyprus lantian197914.04.09 Up early again and off in a bus for tour of Curium a Roman site of importance with ruins from ancient structures, which were demolished by an earthquake and have been parially restored. There was also a Roman Ampitheatre only the first 2 rows and the secret entrance underground were original the rest had been reconstructed. Used for lion, beer, boar fights, later they added water ...
Limassol, Cyprus hazdeb... much as possible. It was interesting looking through the cracks, seeing the old disused buildings. We tried to take many photos, but many a time, guns were thrust our ways. A week after I left Cyprus, the two sides got together and opened up Lidras street. Its in the centre and goes from the North to the South. As we left the other side, and re-entered Cyprus, once again, we were back in Westyville. Starbucks, McDonalds and all ...
Limassol, Cyprus uncle_davros... does have a lot business but her customers are not take care as they should. Talking to Richard, I told him that Jayne's time for leaving on her old visa is up February 15. He told me that the government dragged its feet in getting one of his workers (who is from Cuba) his visa and it cost him (meaning Richard) $200. This might happen with Jayne. I think it's deliberate so the government can make an extra $200. What crooks!
Limassol, Cyprus richlionWe set off quite early to drive up to the Kykos Monestary, one of the more famous monestaries high up in the mountains where Archbishop Makarios retired to and is buried (he was the first and fourth president of Cyprus). We took our time driving up, the roads are good but very twisting, and there are some magnificent views that should be stopped at to take in properly. On the way up the mountains we ...
Polis, Cyprus anneowens... prices skyrocket. I found out later that the Cypriots got their influence from the British when they were a colony as they are famous for narrow roads. So the only logical thing to do is to park your car part way up on the sidewalk. At least it allows more room for traffic. People don't get a ticket for this (I guess the cops realize it allows cars to pass easier). To make things more stupid, I've seen on some streets where steel poles were up on the sidewalks so people ...
Limassol, Cyprus richlion... really feels like a real holiday, not to bother cook, or clean.

I booked 4 months ahead a nice room at the Mill Hotel which is the best hotel in Kakopetria – a beautiful village that keeps its tradition. This beautiful village is about half an hour drive from the highest peak of the Troodos mountains.

The name of the village in Greek ...
