... car with the only incident being Jessamy taking a slip down a muddy hill.
It took a while to find a hotel to stay in nearby - there are not many that have suitable configurations for 6 people. Eventually we found the Grange Manor which was like a set of two story houses joined together with a large dining hall added on the back. We decided to go out for a cheaper meal but couldn't really find something on a Sunday night in an unfamiliar town. We ended up eating in a restaurant ...

Ian, Steve C, Steve B and I finished the ride back to Ian's car this morning. The weather was very nice but noticeably cooler than any other morning on the trip so far other than, perhaps, our big decent from the Col between Italy and Switzerland. To be efficient we just followed A and B roads.

I said my goodbyes and left the other three loading Ian's car and travelled home by train from Gatwick Airport Rail station. To get to the station ...

So arriving in London there was a need for breakfast. We knew where to go. Nice restaurant in Gatwick Airport called Giraffe. So, two fried eggs, two herbed bangers, two back bacon, fried tomato, baked beans and fried potato. Best cup of tea served in a mini Brown Betty. ...
