The weather in New York today is beautiful with clear skies and nice warm sunshine. We've just left the Empire State Building after looking out over the city from the 86th floor observatory. What a view! The Statue of Liberty was next on the itinerary so we headed for battery park to catch the Staten Island ferry. ... been saving it until Monday as the New York marathon was on the Sunday and it finished in the park so would have been mayhem to attempt it before.
