... Park because we were doing another walking tour of Central Park and movie locations. This one was good too! It was maybe just a little bit hot as it started at 12 which is a hot part of the day! We also incorrectly assumed that walking tours wouldn't go for more than an hour roughly - both of these went for two hours! And we had another one booked in for 4pm - that's 6 hours of walking tours! But we persevered :) after the Central Park tour we went to the Plaza hotel ...

... 95-degree heat into the air-conditioned museum and enjoying his strawberry sundae.

After the movie Rebecca went through a 45-minute ordeal to add tickets to the Hayden Planetarium to the museum tickets we had previously purchased. I’ll skip the gritty details, except to say that the museum cashier was very apologetic and ended up giving Rebecca the tickets for nothing. It was almost perfection. However, proving once again there is no just god, the customer ahead of me bought the last six salted chocolate and caramel doughnuts, thereby earning himself a slot in Dante's lowest circle. I had to make do with Cafe Au Lait and Chocolate with Cocoa Nibs. Fortunately, I am a seasoned traveler used to dealing with adversity, so I kept a stiff upper lip.

... it's huge yet not as big as I thought it was going to be. . . But it's gorgeous !! We then headed to the Empire State Building and travelled up to the top!
