... in our concourse is amazing. There’s fresh fruit, a salad bar, a hot bar, beer and wine, baked goods, gourmet pizza, and four mini restaurants. The décor is trendy, all shiny chrome and cherry wood with swooping curves meeting sharp angles. We all choose pizza, pay at automated kiosks, and look for somewhere to sit.

We had a breakfast sandwiches where Christopher gets his coffee and ordered key lime pie and a slice of carrot cake for later. We took the subway to meet Gabriela at the Loiza block party. ... first stop was to Grand Central Station on 42nd Street. It was amazing. The architecture of the old building was magnificent. The movies that you see it in just doesn't do it justice. The pictures that we took of it certainly don't do it justice. I could have walked around there for hours, but with only a day in New York, we had to quickly move on.

Next stop, we headed down 2 blocks to Bryant Park to check out what was happening down there. It was a nice little park snuggled ...

... Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Fareeha and I got Matilda. While our tickets may have been a little more expensive than I thought I was going to spend, we had 8th row seats which was much closer than I had ever been for a Broadway show!

We soon arrived in Times Square, parked the car, and began to walk around. I love New York and just experiencing it all. So many people, all going in so many different directions. We had to move pretty quickly, going to the theater for Cabaret. ...
