    ... did the usual touristy thing n lay down on it. Spent a lovely hour wandering around looking at the views then made our way back down and back out into the -20 deg beautiful sunshine :-o . Thought we'd take a wander over the road to the Steam Whistle Brewary to book a tour for Tuesday when we got there she said there were spaces on the next tour at 12.30pm hmmm to wait in the warm for half hour with a cold beer or go back out into the snow, not a hard choice!     ... large events (like weddings), for hiking along trails that have been built in the reclaimed quarry, and all with an environmentally sound focus. It’s a pretty special space and being recognized internationally for its forward thinking approach.

    It never occurred to me before making this trip that I would ever actually spend time in Toronto. I just don’t ‘do’ cities … but I’m so glad I did! ...

    ... and the CN tower was lite up and I may have given TO a little bit of my heart. Day 6 I wondered around and ended up at the CN tower so it only seemed appropriate to go up. It was alright, the glass floor was definitely the best part but fairly anticlimactic. They say you can see 160km away which I could believe because there is nothing but flat land.     ... Cobs Breads this morning while looking for an Ethernet cable. Picked up a sticky bun and an fruit something or other to take back for breakfast. Proved to be a wonderful little bakery on Bloor maybe 1/2 dozen blocks from where I'm at.

    Returned from Forty Creek in the rain around 4pm. Ride through Yonge and Dundas (TOR's Time Square) at rush hour box has been checked.

    ... travel-size anything, since I have to pack for three. They have small suitcases with small backpacks. But what is really different on this trip is the amount of electronics we are hauling around. When I traveled before, I had a camera and a journal.
