Today basically, I just worked and then we met up with Laine in the afternoon. We picked Bangkok Garden, a restaurant just around the corner because it had mediocre reviews on TripAdvisor. It turned out to be really great (if expensive).
We went to bed really early zzzz.
By the way, we got a great deal from Hotels.com for our hotel, BTW. Props to my employee discount once again!
At last we think we have figured out this trip. We will leave Buffalo and head to Barcelona for a few days. Then we will get ourselves to London for our flight to Mumbai. After a short while in Mumbai we are heading south to Panaji, Old Goa and the coast where we will spend considerable time. About a month or so later it's back to London ...
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada smyth... techniques. How nichey and cool is that? I asked if I could watch their class for a bit and it was cool. They were practicing the scene from Fight Club, where the narrator has his first fight ever with Tyler Durden. Check out the video, it's interesting.
I came home to find a note on John's door, saying he is taking a nap, so I took a nap for an hour too. When I wake up, it starts raining a big, crazy thunderstorm and suddenly, I see a huge rainbow in the sky! I run out and ...
... while in Cozumel, I mean I know that I want to do something but am really not sure yet what it is that I should do. I'd like to rent a car and travel around the island, go to Coconuts, but I don't want to do that alone, and am not sure if anyone else would be up for it. I'd also like to go scuba diving - just once to say I went while in one of the best coral reefs in the world. I want to snorkel and go into San Miguel, I want to get my hair ...

Toronto, Ontario, Canada civiliangovt... as wild turkey, alpacas, Connemara Horses, deer (the little kind), etc. I had a shower and got ready for a trip to SKOL, a little dockside cantina that until recently went by the name of the White Hart Pub. Sunday is (one of several, it turns out) Jam Night and I was ready to play. There were a couple of denizens at the bar when we (Jane and James decided to come with me) arrived shortly after 8. The band members had already plugged in and were tuning up before going on. One of them ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada scottmandu... was a really nice time! Was Caribana and it was crazy with people (I also think it was the Toronto Turkish Fest), but other than that going on, I think all dowtowners must have vacated to cottages etc as it was pretty quiet in town. We tried to fix that! Great weekend ladies! Support Jo. Watch ET Canada.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada steph-is-abroad... companies, including a Canadian mining company, have expressed interest in the rich natural resources of Guyana. While this offers jobs to many Guyanese people, it also has a domino effect of issues such as prostitution, which then leads to bigger problems like HIV/AIDS and lack of literacy and education. I have to wrap it up here since my time is running out and internet is ridiculously expensive (something I definitely take for granted at home), so for now I'll just say that ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada pvoon... and collapsed wheezing into our seats occasionally coughing up exhaust fumes, dust and cigarette butts. London really is an incredibly dirty city. The next day was spent wandering again, but this time in the care of some capable guides. It seemed that wherever you looked there were at least 10 people in your field of vision, but despite this we had an enjoyable time in good company. On the way back, we did a spontaneous/ incredibly nerdy thing and went to a ...
