We went to Toronto islands today. It was a really cloudy day, a double edged sword. The temperature was just right but the photos weren't clear. The ferry to the island took about 15 minutes and cost 7 CAD. Our first stop was this really dubious looking puppet show that was pay what you want. We went in without any expectations. It turned out to be a kids show called slumber land that left us feeling like we were going to sleep ...

... Our flight from Zurich to JFK was a long flight if 8 hours and 45 minutes. I think what made this flight soooo ,one was that I only cat napped for 20 or so minutes while I was watching a movie. I ended up watching a couple of movies, one was called "After the sunset" well something like, which was a good movie, also watched a documentary on big wave surfers, suffering like 14 foot waves, crazy I say or sure. When we arrived in JFK we had to line up with what felt like the millions ...

Adrea and I had planned to travel together however it didn't work out that way but we decided to at least depart for Italy on the same day - Andrea to Rome and me to Venice. It was nice to hang with my bro in the airport. We were relaxed and excited to be in Italy together. After a large draft of Rickards Red we hobbled to our gates for boarding.

... in the line. But since Justin's brothers had been there since so early, the group of the 6 of us was first in line! Seriously nice of them to let me line up with them cos it meant not only was I at the front, we could also take turns to leave for food and bathroom breaks etc. And had people to talk to! Doors opened at 7, and the openers (the virgins - average) came on at 8. The Killers finally came on at 9:30, 12 hours after we lined up.
BUT ...
