Another thing that different people had warned us about before coming over here was the bread; saying that it's not the same as Australian bread and it quite sugary and sweet. Planes, trains & automobiles got me to my final destination - Adina Apartment Hotel Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin. I left for the airport in Toronto @ 5 p.m. on Friday night and was checked into my room in Berlin @ 5 p.m. Saturday, local time. The airport express bus; subway; taxi got me here…..just in time for the last weekend of Oktoberfest!!! Who needs beer?? Not me. ...
Well after 28 days, 3 countries, 9 plane rides, 1 31 hour train ride, 1 boat tour of the Great Barrier Reef, an 8 day Outback tour and many adventures we are finally home.
