Short Trip
It was a whirlwind trip so this blog will have to cover the whole trip. I arrived on Monday morning and flew out on Thursday night. We had three days of meetings for the Global Services division at my company. It was great to meet all of the leaders from around the world.
Meetings
I had to present on the first day which …
Thunderstorming in Kuala Lumpur
... thunderous, warm shower, the latter is like someone slapping you across the face with a cold dishcloth and being attacked with a hairdryer on the cool setting at the same time.
Running through the thunderstorm in KL was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. The minute we arrived at Hotel Lok Ann we demanded to see the room before paying a penny after the '***** *****' experience. The room however was luxury in comparison to ...
Travelling has its challenges, part two
... a ball of red fur cozily sleeping up there as if just suspended in air.
Overall I spent five weeks in China and it was incredible and difficult. So beautiful and so frustrating. I did it, and I didnt even break down crying once! I didnt have any stomache problems (!?!?!?!?!) and I didnt ever find myself stranded in a wrong town or city. I battled ...

Kamera löyty ja tavattiin myös kaupungissa samaan aikaan pyörinyt Penangista tuttu Dave. Kuala Lumpuriin matkaavan kannattaa paastota vähintään pari päivää ennen saapumista, sillä ...

TravelPod Member ReviewsThe Gardens Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur
The single room we stayed in could easily accomodate 3. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The staff are quite congenial. The room is on the 18th floor and the view is fabulous all times of the day. Monorail, KLM Kommuter trains, flyovers, cars ...Most importantly since it is centrally located, it was easy to visit most of the tourist attractions using public transport. Plus the shopping mall in lower floors can keep you happy just staying here :)
