Travel Blogs from Kuala Lumpur
It was a whirlwind trip so this blog will have to cover the whole trip. I arrived on Monday morning and flew out on Thursday night. We had three days of meetings for the Global Services division at my company. It was great to meet all of the leaders from around the world.
I had to present on the first day which …
So the bus dropped us off in Kuala Lumpur, driving into the city at night was really impressive as you could see all the sky scrapers and everything lit up. We got off the bus, got our bags and asked a man for directions to china town. Luckily it was across the road from the bus stop. So we made our way to china town and finally found our hostel as all the markets are set up and our hostel was behind one of the stalls. When I say hostel I mean hotel it was the cheapest ...
... day wasn't ruined! They next day we decided to book a flight to Cambodia which gave us a grand total of 48 hours in Malaysia. TravelPod Member ReviewsThe Gardens Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur
The single room we stayed in could easily accomodate 3. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The staff are quite congenial. The room is on the 18th floor and the view is fabulous all times of the day. Monorail, KLM Kommuter trains, flyovers, cars ...Most importantly since it is centrally located, it was easy to visit most of the tourist attractions using public transport. Plus the shopping mall in lower floors can keep you happy just staying here :)
