It has been a great day and a half with Lily and her family! Got into Fresno, checked in the hotel and with Lily. After a short rest, we went to Lil and Minnie's, Lil's sister. We were joined by Minnie's son, Rick and his wife, Doris, and Minnie's daughter, Darlene, and her husband, Ron. The eight of us went to dinner at the Limelighter and had a wonderful time catching up with everyone. Thanks, Lil! We had met Rick and Doris when we were last in Fresno two years ago with Erin, ...

We then hiked up to the trail head where we saw a no dog sign. Now why
wouldn’t it say that in the parking lot? ...

And fortunately, I was right. We enjoyed a pleasant 70-72 degrees all day long, while it was 99 degrees on the outside of the parks. We left the hotel at 7:45 and began the one hour drive through miles of orange groves and olive groves and vineyards.

... reason why today was so different. Bertha hadn't been stalking us so far but right now, she's right outside pushing her face against the window! It was so difficult to eat with her making a creepy smile at me! After Pakou and I were done eating, we paid and rushed out separately to lose Bertha and met at a different stop so Bertha can't follow us. We were able to lose her but I know that she's going to show up ...

Today was hard

... to help us (who got in the way more than anything).

While putting some finishing touches on our set up one of the boys dropped a clamp (at about 8 feet up) off a frame and on to my head. Helllooo blood. It apparently cut me pretty deep. I kept working and about 10 minutes later i was like… hmm my forehead feels really wet.. so i touched it, and yup it was red. I went and got cleaned up in the bathroom and realized it was worse than expected. Plus ...
