So we prowled the dark back streets trying to find civilization. Alas, a pub loomed into sight like an oasis in the desert - and it was no mirage. The folks of Witney were so helpful and kind ...

On another Saturday morning, we caught the speedy Oxford Tube bus and toted our way to the nearby university town. Oxford is home to college campuses which have supported the studies of a long list of very reputable and well known scholars, politicians, poets, singers etc (to name a few: Adam Smith, T.S. Eliot, CS Lewis, Oscar Wilde, Dr.Seus, Imran Khan, JRR Tolkien, Albert ...
