Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

Halloween is coming up soon. It's not as big a deal here in England, and I never took the time to go shopping for a costume. I wont be able to attend any parties anyway because I'm going on the University sanctioned trip to Stonehenge the entire weekend.
It was dull and grey, typical England but at least it was dry.
Tanked up in Portsmouth and set off up the M27.
Just before the A34 it started to rain and the traffic was horrendous. The M40 was at a standstill.

San Francisco is the only place on our adventure that I have visited before. The last time I was there was on an alcohol fuelled road trip across America and I loved it. ... and she came to meet us at the Craddock with some scones. It was great to see Sangy and happily we persuaded her to come and stay with us in Rutland on Sunday. Slug mentioned that he fancied a curry so she kindly offered to make one and bring it with her.
