      ... so we paid the 80zar entrance fee and in we went. We only lasted about an hour and we decided to sack it. Conscious of our early start the next day, we headed back to the hotel to bed. First new year in many that I have been in bed before midnight ! As it was, everyone else was still out partying so we lay awake listening to the festivites going on around us. Didn't sleep great for the rest of the night and woke feeling tired! ...

      Woke feeling like absolute **** so spent the morning in bed while ryan, graham and Yvonne went for breakfast. when they returned my request for a watermelon had been granted, albeit it had to be purchased from a manny at the side of the road!       ... breakfast! Later on in the day, yvonne and me prepared the veg and I made the sauce for the cauliflower cheese, then it was time to fry the turkey! 35 mins in boiling hot fat and it was ready!
