Had a perfect travel day yesterday. Actually got away early, 8:45, and had beautiful cold clear weather all day. It was only once we got close to Portland that we saw any snow at all and there it was only deep in the bush. But shortly after we stopped for the night the snow started. ... do the tour of the House of 7 Gables in Salem, make sure 2 tour guides from another company are on the tour too, and you can share the feeling we had at 10am today! The House of 7 Gables is the one that inspired the book of the same name. INSPIRED. However, the woman who was a tour guide from another company seemed to think the fictional characters had lived in the house and acted out the book. So, as the layout of the ACTUAL house is different to the house ...

... I’ve ever consumed. It was a gigantic burger in between two grilled cheeses. The choices of sides were French fries, coleslaw, or rice and beans. I went with French fries. Again, this meal was cooked to perfection and brought out maybe seven minutes after we had ordered our drinks. I only had a couple bites since I was headed to a second place in town. If you’re looking for a place with great service, great food, and even better ...
