So, the journey started with a guy named Joe.  Joe was my Empire driver who kindly drove me to the airport.  He was a gem of a guy, who enjoyed small talk...couldn't have asked for a better fit.  We spoke about similarities between Coney Island and my home town, the current ongoing in ...

... had protected us earlier, we got soaked, arriving back in the village wet from out travels. Lunch was in the Village, before we were finally able to check in at the B&B, where the complimentary home-made Welsh Cakes in our room were delicious. Keen to do some more route bagging in preparation for our SPA we headed to Craig Caseg Fraith Isaf, which had lots of fairly short routes for our grades. We had a lovely sunny day and managed to get lots of routes done. After some lunch we moved on to Tryfan Bach, a nice big slab of rock taking 2 pitches to sail up. I think I placed 1 bit of gear up for the entire climb! It was so slabby you could pretty much just scramble up it hands and feet. Another good days climbing!
