The Excelsior Hong Kong

Sorry for not writing a bit sooner but Shanghai has been hectic. Rather like the city itself we haven't stopped. After Bangkok, we travelled to Hong Kong, We booked into the Excelsior hotel with a harbour view where we could experience the sunset from our room. Hong Kong is a very lively and busy place, but a true experience. We travelled on the star ferry a must for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Hong Kong is just as bizarre as I thought it would be. Bigger crowds than I have been in ever. Just crossing the street was pretty funny. We bid a fond farewell to Nepal on their New Year's day, April 14, 2006. Even though it was New Year day, there wasn't much celebration going on because of the threat of more pro-democracy protests.
