... quite late, but we still were able to find a nice restaurant for dinner (it was 9.30pm)...had a nice home cooked style meal and then we were well in truly ready for bed.
Tomorrow we have to drop our rental car back (only the next building over which is a bonus) and we are on a train to Switzerland!!!!! Hehehehehe dunno if we are prepared for the prices though, but the views will be wicked haha.

We had some trouble finding the restaurant as we only had the address not the name lol! ... for our patience. The flight arrive on time and safely in Moscow. The longest wait we had after that was at the hotel reception desk, 20 min, only to be told we were at the wrong desk, please go to the other end of the building to the other reception desk! We finally got to bed at 4.30 am after over 24 hrs of travel.

I really enjoyed walking around the town, which is divided into the old town (formerly its own village, before the GDR-era construction) and the planned part of the city. The planned part had some neat characteristics of socialist cities: a clear city center, lots of green space, and a centrally located school (and Kindergarten). ... buddies, had arrived from Philly and we were flying to Africa together. First stop: food! Especially since I had slept through dinner and drink service on my first flight and literally sat in my seat without moving for 8 hours. At least the girl two seats over was cute.
Next stop: Stopover in Khartoum!
