... We drove the short distance from Hot Water Beach to Hahei Beach. Again, I cannot believe on such a beautiful morning and such a stunning beach with amazing views, we were the only people on the entire beach! ... of pools of hot water. Despite Nathan's hard efforts of digging, hot water was not discovered. Kind generous souls shared their pools with us so we could enjoy the hot water beside the cold seas. ... and if at any point in the day they slip their shoes off, they receive a punishment. It becomes a wonder how the students find meaning in their uniforms when the staff are so lax with theirs, but I suppose that there must be legitimacy somewhere in there.
The timing of staff and students is also far different from the US. At 8:45 (have I mentioned yet that this is when school starts? Talk about a different ...
