Bon Voyage Family Weekend

... my face lit up like a Cheshire Cat and my Yelp of joy was loud enough to inform the whole street that my brothers had arrived to celebrate our farewell with us. It really made the day complete in our eyes to have all of the buckley's there. The drinks were flowing and the farewells exchanged before the night closed in on us. I want to write this blog to thank the Whitby's and Buckley's for making our weekend so personal. After all.... The love of a family is life's greatest blessing .. ...

We headed our different ways this morning, both on the tube, I got off at Green Park to hit Harrods, Rob went on to St John Wood to hit Lords. Rob enjoyed his Lords tour, the home of cricket. Saw the media centre shaped like a boat designed by a boat builder, the long room, the pavilion, the museum where the ashes live. Wasn't allowed to walk on the ...

Day 4: A little bit of nothing

A travel blog entry by elainesj on Mar 09, 2014

... Harrods was overly warm and very quickly, we wanted tobleave. Before we left though, I was determined to examine the famed food halls. When we finally made it tobthe bakery section, i was thrilled. Scones and all kinds of delicious baked treats were just £1.20 each! I scooped up £15 of desserts and breakfast for the 7 of us and then we fought pir way through room after room of tourists to get out into the fresh air. I did pause for a second to admire the ...
