Budapest highlights then start the 23 hour cruise to Vienna. At 2,600km, the Danube is the second longest river in Europe (after the Volta). It's quite shallow and typically there's only 1.5 m of water under our keel. Before the snow melt, it's too shallow for the cruise ships in Jan and Feb. This field trip was to act as a reward to the students for completing the case study, and indeed it was just that. We relaxed and stuffed our faces with more delicious foods. The coordinators organized for us to have a culture sharing activity where each student was to present some sort of song/dance/joke that was representative of their country.
