      Last week there was snow on the mountains and the views from the house were fantastic. Also had some brilliant sunsets here as well.

      We wanted to do a big hike. So we went to Langdale and decided to tackle the mighty peaks of Rossett Pike, Esk Pike and Bowfell, calculating a nice circular route to encompass these.       ... planning for lunch. All the places in town were cafe's or bistro's, mostly serving finger food and pastries. Walking the entire town took less than 20 minutes, but amazed me with every corner.       It's Saturday morning, we've slept pretty well, but it's absolutely frantic in the Black Bull; we've got a bus to catch! We need to get to the Penine View Caravan Park (where Packhorse our transport company are based) by soon after 8.00 am to get their bus to St. Bees, leaving at 8.30 prompt.
