      ... decor. From the porcelain room we walked up the "Grand staircase" into the armoury. The grand staircase is quite grand. Not overly big but red carpet all the way up and all around were suits of armour, royal banners, etc. the armoury had more guns and swords than I've ever seen.       ... expected them! I was thinking of market stalls lined up on green lawns selling different products – food, clothes, souvenirs and things like that. Instead, the market consisted of lots of shops lined along the streets and along the Thames and another section that was sort of like a maze – all the shops were really close together and it was almost like alleyways in-between them. That section reminded us of Sri Lankan markets!
