      ... said that the colors were the most dramatic in years-they were right! There were reds, oranges, golds, the 'whole shootin match'.

      We took some wonderful hikes and marveled at how incredibly gorgeous the fall is in Upstate New York.

      ... our clothes together to save my quarters, and he offered to wash and dry everything tonight. I was telling him about monsoons in the desert, when suddenly his phone lit up and he started ignoring me. I was beat from the day, and annoyed, so I turned in early.       ... this is a quiet stop! No trains or roads for miles. The only sounds are fish called Croakers. They make croaking noises underwater that get amplified by our hull. The actually sound like underwater frogs.

      We had our friends from Iowa aboard for dinner and met a couple other cruisers on their way to the North Channel in Georgian Bay.
