      Gerald chose our hotel based on it's proximity to the race track. It boasted a zoo on the premises. When we arrived and were shown to our room we were astonished to see giraffes wandering outside our room. Their enclosure was a four foot fence. Our room opened up to this view.       ... restrooms. I did take a picture of a lonely cat sitting on the long beach with no people. No people at 7 AM when the beach is tolerably cool. I did my swimming in the hotel pool instead.

      ... learning the language. Well I cheated, Ian wrote a lot of words down and I'm just looking at the piece of paper that he wrote them on. They speak English in Abu Dhabi.       ... out to fabulous. Luckily lol. Now we are full and tired, still finding it hard to shake off NZ time so it feels like we've pulled an all nighter. Almost midnight so better get some sleep.
