    After dealing with the dreaded holiday delays, we left Toronto 12 hours later and got to Abu Dhabi after a 13 hour non stop flight. I don't know whether the airline took pity on us or the Lady Luck started smiling upon us, we got upgraded to business class on our way to Mumbai from Abu Dhabi.     ... us to the Sheik Fayad Mosque. This mosque is probably the most beautiful building I have ever seen. We had to cover up in black cloaks and remove our shoes before entering the huge marble structure. The inlays of semi-precious stones in the forms of flowers and exquisite chandeliers were just breath-taking.     ... stock up on supplies. Checking the receipts afterwards uncovers the fact that a half litre bottle of water was a very reasonable forty five pence (we apparently paid ten quid in a restaurant earlier in the week which explains why Deb shoos the waiters away when they offer) and the petrol was around thirty pence per litre, that's right, water is three times the price of petrol.     ... Qatar), then took a six hour flight to Paris where I hung around the airport for a few hours, then I took my final flight straight to good ole Dallas, Texas which is my traditional homeland. This was my first "round the world" trip and I hope it will not be the only one in my lifetime! So get out there and travel my friends! There is a whole world to see!
