... all our carryon luggage. Since a rental was out of the question we boarded the A1 bus headed towards Abu Dhabi downtown area. The whole ride lasted about an hour even though the driver was speeding down the highway and blowing his horn like a bloody madman :) On the way over we spotted multiple faces of sheiks on the back of cars and learned that the UAE would celebrate its 43rd National Day tomorrow. Monday 30th - we woke up at 5am and walked 3mins to the train station to catch the train to Heathrow. Checked in and ready to go we waited and waited and finally it was boarding time. The flight to Abu Dhabi went quite quick, both of us were mesmerised in the numerous tv shows and movies on the plane. When we arrived we only had a short walk through immigration and out through a corridor to our hotel. ...
