7am - Jill Aisling and Myself went out in a canoe on the lake. It was absolutely beautiful with Pelicans, ducks and beavers. It was so tranquil just pad delving around. We had breakfast at 8.15am, quick shower, bag packed and then headed off for a hike.

We drove for about 30 minutes turning off onto an unsealed logging track. We were at the Precipice also known as the 'Baby Grand Canyon'. We followed the ...

Drove down to look at Heart Lake as we left the camp. Then stopped at Bijoux Falls, right next to the highway. Home of a colony of Steller's jays, who obliged for the photos. Drove along McLeod Lake, stopping to pull into Whiskers Point on the lake. Lunch at Crooked River(Bear Lake) Provincial Park, with a huge day area and almost full camp site. Then ...

We are still waiting for the part to arrive from Victoria. Isn't that crazy?
But you know all about waiting for parts Brenda.
However, Williams Lake isn't the worst place to be broken down in.
Yesterday we walked to this nice Bird sanctuary island and biked around the area today.
Hope that the part will be here tomorrow.

... t do it justice. We had 3 car sick, Madison, Buster and Harry....

There were some serious purple knuckles on the trip with an extremely winding road. 88km of winding road through the Rockies which took us over 2 hours. Luckily no vomit! Harry just lay on the floor and when we stopped he jumped out of Rosie and his legs collapsed. Very funny.

Day 30 Williams Lake to Prince George

... to the Irish Pub to eat, there was the most friendly part owner who spent quite a long time talking to us. Then when we got ready to pay our bill, he wouldn't take money. For dessert we walked up to DQ, the most popular place on town, for my hot fudge sundae, a disappointment. The streets seem to roll up very early here. Also most of the businesses are banks and financial offices. Have seen very few, actually no, real estate offices or ...
