Last, but not least

... Its known as one of Woody Allen's greats. Surely he must be a love him or hate him type. I mean how much neurotic, unmanly introspectiveness can we handle. Quite a bit in my case and I liked it, especially the last half hour plus the black and white New York images so beautifully woven in. Not sure if I liked Annie Hall more though. Hmm, guess it one to ponder in my mentally neural moments. The wrestler Back to the present tense then - sort of, with this throwback to films of ...

Oh, Bernstein, I'll take you to Foggy London Town!

... special. We ate at KUNG FOOD, which is a just local Chinese place with a badass name. We chilled out for a bit, and got ready for our night's festivities consisting of a Pub Crawl. In essence, we spend about an hour each at 5 different pubs where we travel with a group and 2 "guides" that navigated us through the city. In total, the pub crawl cost about 12 pounds...$16 maybe It was a pretty diverse crowd-kids from Tennesse, NYC, Alabama, Germany, and other places. I really ...

EASTERN BLOC PARTY

... We have seen and experienced so much in between those early days soaking in the Mediterranean and picnicking on wine and cheese in the sunny west and our most recent adventures exploring medieval towns and feasting on hearty goulashes in the chilly east. Our final few weeks in Europe has been quite the shock to system weatherwise. Having skipped out of Sydney in the last throes of summer, it has been our first taste ...

March 25-26: London

... ticket in Edinburgh and bought a flight out of London while at the easter b&b as they made a comment that the prices change quickly on the Ryan air flights...sure enough it had gone up 20 pounds from the previous day so i snagged it!.) anyway caught a 5 hour train into London Huston station and showed up at the Russell Reynolds IT Department doorsteps (well slightly prearranged through email with my friend Geoffrey Teabo!). ... Arc de Triomphe, go to the Opera Garnier, and also the Sacre Coeur church. I also had to make time to meet up with my cousin for lunch. For most people, their top three on their first time to Paris is the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Cathedral Notre Dame. However, there is so much to see in Paris! So, after the picture some of my friends and I walked to the Arc de Triomphe, and we got some amazing pictures from the top (not to mention a fabulous workout after climbing up ...

London Encore: Wimbo Saves the Day

... Gatwick Express absolutely exhausted. Arrived at airport and decided better check in straight away. Waited in queue to check in........ then it seemed like we had SOME time because it was 3 something but decided might as well go through to the departure lounge straight away. Thank goodness we did because the security queue took around 30mins! We were behind two british families - where the young girls have makeup all over their faces, more jewellery decoration ...

Up early the next morning, I took the train to Gent, then to Lille, then to Calais, and then embarked on the final section of my 8500 mile overland ...

Unfortunately the Bronco's lost but it was very entertaining as one of the guys in front of us who was the size of a bear, was doing a happy dance and rubbing it into us and then it turned into a strip tease and he mooned us...it was all in good fun and very very funny!! Gem even got big kisses off them when we were leaving!! We later went into Tesco's and asked them if ...
