On the way a family walking on the other side of the road called out "Heloo Mrs Tonkin-Case", It turned out to be one of her school students and family, What are the chances, Jo-Ann knew that they were in the UK and had even called them earlier in the trip but didn't know that they were in Cardiff at the same time. There are lots of interesting birds on the Fleet and I was amazed to see a flock of several hundred coots (normally I see them in very small numbers), lots of Brent geese and some shoveller ducks.       Drove to Exeter, took Park and Ride bus to the city centre - so sensible. Another glorious sunny but chilly day. Everyone out busy Christmas shopping.

      ... then all had an archery lesson which was great fun. Dawn did best hitting two bullseye. Em and Ruby both hit the target and got better with each shot.
