    ... dirty rubbish, something that helped put in to perspective how lucky we actually are! Upon arrival in the old town our first stop was The Indonesian Bank Museum, a must do on tripadvisor. As the name suggests this was a museum about the Indonesian Bank, its creation, growth, fall etc and was actually quite interesting - plus it was free!     If only the restaurant food was half as good as his attitude.

    After a disappointing meal and a failure to find anything worth watching on tv my day ended by 9:00 pm.

    Ten hours later (!!) my Sunday started. Decided to splurge on the breakfast buffet and treat it as my "Sunday brunch". Once again, the food was nothing to write home about but...there were people! The hotel wasn't deserted after all.

This was the same as usual except that the Chinese New Year is tomorrow and so there are cherry blossom, dragon and horse decorations everywhere and a new special mocktail was available. After paying the bill for dinner a hotel waitress asked me to take a card that was attached to one of the cherry blossom trees.
