Waste of time!

A travel blog entry by jpandpa on Jun 09, 2014

... noon. (Needed to be in Columbus, OH by Wednesday and didn't want to hurry). Started out of CW - What the Heck! Loud cracking popping scraping noises from behind me. Thought we had a cabinet falling off. Entry steps vibrating at every bump! Did a U-turn, back to CW, and gave it back to them! Told we had to take it to the factory in Iowa to get the slide fixed. Nope! ...

Stopped at Tallahassee Camping World to look at a new Itasca Ellipse. There are several upgrades to this model that would be nice. Negotiated a great deal, decided we should go ahead and do it. I passed Destin, the place of Arron Hillier's wedding a few years before. I tried to spot the hotel I had stayed in but I wasn't too sure if I'd seen it or not. There was a lot of hotels in this area of the coast. I pushed on.

I followed the coast as much as I could. As ...

A travel blog entry by ecocco1 on May 04, 2014

Drive to Nth Carolina - this is why I love driving in a different country, we went through many gorgeous little southern towns, pretty & picturesque, photos wouldn't do them justice as they must be seen to be appreciated. Stately southern homes, but we also saw a few less stately places which brings you back to the realisation that there is still a great difference between 'haves' & 'have nots' here. After driving a few hours we ...
