Stopped at Tallahassee Camping World to look at a new Itasca Ellipse. There are several upgrades to this model that would be nice. Negotiated a great deal, decided we should go ahead and do it. It's only $$, and we spend 5 months a year doing this. Techs found a leak in the water line going to the refrigerator, so we went to Big Oak RV Park on their recommendation. Not the best decision. It was ok, lots of permanents, roads narrow.
... the state. It's historic, scenic, and interesting to spend a day in Tallahassee..... then move on. Since we knew the RV couldn't fit downtown near the capital, we GPS'ed the local Walmart with a huge parking lot and some nice shade trees -- Kitty got to spend some of her time napping. ... I passed the lighter areas with her houses and back into the high density areas and beach houses again. This area was a Mecca for vacation, but really all was quiet at the present. I passed Destin, the place of Arron Hillier's wedding a few years before. I tried to spot the hotel I had stayed in but I wasn't too sure if I'd seen it or not. Drive to Nth Carolina - this is why I love driving in a different country, we went through many gorgeous little southern towns, pretty & picturesque, photos wouldn't do them justice as they must be seen to be appreciated. Stately southern homes, but we also saw a few less stately places which brings you back to the realisation that there is still a great difference between 'haves' & 'have nots' here.
