... of Van Gogh (four floors to be exact) with a variety of art forms including sculptures, scetches and many different stlyes of his paintings. I learnt a lot about Van Gogh´s life, mental state and his creativity. I particularly liked his still life painitings of flowers- the colours are just beautiful.

Amsterdam as a city is just gorgeous (I cannot speak more highly of it), the small lane ways, the hidden bars and resturants just make you want to live ...

Made it safely to Pearson after a rain filled drive to the airport. After saying goodbye and getting through security problem-free I went and had some lunch and waited at my gate. I must say it definitely felt/still feels surreal! As if I'm doing this (go Kate!) We got on the airplane on time and it didn't take me long to fall asleep. (The whole get up early to try and avoid jet leg thing really didn't work out for me.) I slept for about 45 mins before waking up at 6:45 pm ...

... was to Magera Brug, also known as Skinny Bridge. I will include photos of this. It is special and recommended, I guess, because it is skinny and different architecture in comparison to all of Amsterdam's other bridges. It also appears to be a functioning draw bridge. ... they are outside art amazing really. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride although they spoke Dutch the whole way around - they gave us paper to translate where we were. Only downfall but still worth it. We had some lovely lunch in a local pub, yummy pickles in my burger with no bun and we tried the traditional dish of bitterballs with mustard... ...
