John Deere look after their workers very well. The tour went for 2 hrs in the actual factory area but 4 hrs all toll. The day in Mannheim was capped with spaghetti ice (that's ice cream - ice cream is called ice in Germany) so we had spaghetti ice. See pics........
By 6:04 we were on our train for Speyer and back in the house by 6:45.
... this year. At the start of the year, I knew the basics, but I couldn't follow a conversation and know I can get out what I want to say and understand most things. Like everything, it isn't perfect and it still takes me 3 times to read a text and understand it, but a huge improvement overall. I did put in a lot of effort to get so far, so I hope the receding hairline was worth it!
