    ... was exactly the same (word for word) as St Pauls Anglican in Symonds St (and every other Anglican church in NZ) and when we sang the English National Anthem at the end of the service, it used to be ours!!! God Save the Queen! J asked if our version had different words - that would have been sacrilege! After all, she was our queen too!!

    Each day I have two hours off (yeah right!!!) from 2-4pm - it's been recommended I get right off the property so I don't get too claustrophobic being in one place. But actually, J does get out a bit - sometimes I need to take her (we're planning a trip to Woodbridge next week - a lovely riverside place full of boats) and sometimes she goes with friends.

    Anyway, I've been walking on my time off and now realise that's what English people mostly do when they go on ...

    ... behind him. I must admit most are very patient and friendly. They even give way when the road is too narrow for two vehicles to squeeze past, which is quite often.

    ... and the five of us were on our way. A short car journey,a train ride and we were in the right place. First things first, lunch. Stopped at a little place they call the greasy spoon where they serve the best egg, bacon and chips we have ever tasted. Not healthy stuff of course but good to eat before the game.
