    The landing at Felixstow was not the gentle pulling alongside of a jetty, but more like a re-enactment of the D-Day landings at Omaha beach. The ferry headed straight into shore nose first and beached on the sand.

    The weather has been so so, sunny periods and showers. The temperature does not go over 12 much. Central heating throughout keeps us warm.
    Today we are paying a visit to Graham's cousin who lives in Suffolk.Will be there for lunch and will probably go for a walk in the country. They say it is a pretty area so we are both looking forward to it.

    Woke up early and were delighted not to have a hangover after all the celebrations yesterday. More to come tonight.
    Took a drive to Dedham which is a village with lots of history and lots of quaint buildings. Drove through hamlets called Halstead and Fordstreet. Very very pretty, lush green country side and everything looks soft.Walked around Dedham, narrow streets of course and the cutest shop fronts we have ever seen. ...
