    ... in Hertfordshire (just). We only travelled 10 miles but worked through 19 double locks, all on our own. Not much traffic out yet. Only passed one other boat coming towards us ALL DAY. 37 miles and 39 locks to London......

    Saw first house fly, wasp and kingfisher this year!

    Moored up in Berkhamsted opposite a park. Seems very quiet for a fait sized town, apart from the trains rattling by that is.
