The following weekend Avery and I met up with some of her classmates to stop by the 41st annual Steel City Beer and Cider Festival at the nearby Kelham Island Museum. (Note: Sheffield used to be a huge steel manufacturer and most of it was produced in Kelham Island). There was even a live band (of the brass and horns variety) that played the Jurassic Park theme song. Weird, but awesome.

... Picked up some photos I’d had printed for an album for Maamaa. Went with Honey to pick up Elspeth from a party, where she’d been playing soccer with the others at the party, was ‘scouted’ by a soccer coach and invited to come to a training the next week - that makes four players in the family! I had an enjoyable evening poking fun at the results of the Ashes - finally Australia was having some cricket success!
