... pick me up. We caught an Amtrak train which took us down the coast to our final destination of San Diego. The 2.5hr was great, we all enjoyed having the freedom to move around the train and we even discovered the onboard cafe. A bit of sugar for the kids and a local beer for Alex and we were 5 very happy travelers. ... Six Flags is mainly known for its roller-coaster rides which are next door in Magic Mountain but today's objective for us was to stay cool and get wet.

We arrived at the water park just as it opened at 10.30am. Being early, and an RV, we were ushered into a prime and covered position quite close to entrance. Car drivers had to walk miles! If you're an impatient person, Six Flags is not for you...or Jonathan! As we got to the entrance gate, we joined the queue ...

... time I got to JFK. I did ask about eliminating the cold blowing air but the driver just seemed to increase the blow level. So that's all for the moment. Just worked on some photo editing ... from Sumatra 2013... I have Hawaii to finish up but the next project is complicated...not really suitable for airport terminals. Plus it is a lot harder to do photo editing on the netbook because of windows 7. Someday (soon) I will have to make the transition.

... our first siting of someone famous. The other members of our group were less fortunate and did not recognize Mr. Griffin. Looking back, the best part about the whole thing was the unexpectedness of it all. We were just walking into Cold Stone and BAM, Blake Griffin, NBA All-star.
