... other things. When we first pulled up, another resident stopped and asked Leon if he wanted some surplus wood. He opened the tailgate of his truck and showed us a dozen or more 1X4 boards, all of equal length. He said he thought about Leon when he got them. Leon lit up and said he would be glad to have them. We unloaded them and stood them against a wall in the “Home Depot.” Who knows what they may turn into.

After about four hours of fun in the sun, well, actually shade, we decided to pack up and head back home. I say home because we have been here for five days already so it is starting to feel like home. We decided to check out a different way to exit the beach and found out that it is much faster than the route we took getting there. I suspect we will be coming back at least one more time while we are here.

The chips cool slowly along a cooling unit that takes 20 minutes to gradually chill them to 50 degrees. This cooling process prevents the sugar from coming to the surface and making the chocolate have that white chalky look. (Not harmful, by the way, just looks unsightly.) At the end of the line, a third employee inspects them.
