A budget choice. Some 70ies charme, fading carpets, a little more thorough cleaning would do some good. Ok for one night.

... taking me by surprise! I met him as he checked in to the hostel and he was bright pink from sunburn, dumbass had done the Alpine Crossing today without any suntan lotion! ha! We had a brief chat and arranged to meet in the bar later for a good catch up where there was a free bbq.
Turns out the free bbq meant an iceland burger in a slice of bread, but it was food, and it was free!

... It was rather hot though! I was slightly worried by the signs all over telling you not to put your head underwater, so as to prevent 'aseptic meningitis’…. Reassuring!
