After a long flight to Auckland via Brisbane (detour saved lots of cash) and losing a day on the date line we bagged the Gold Coast city - or at least it's airport. The onward flight from Brisbane to Auckland felt really short and enjoyable and we all arrived surprisingly rested.

... offer bread that's very much like the bread back home. It's being regarded as luxery bread. Depending on the store, we pay $3.5 - $5.30 (2.25-3.80) per bread, depending on the store, but it tastes great. PPPPS! For those who know my technical computer deficiences, you will have quessed the turmoil and frustrations in compiling this wee blog. Our 7 year old little notebook has also its aging issues, but challenging forward! Despite these issues I am enjoying trying to share a little of our adventures. ... Jackson saw the perfect setting at the Alexanders' 1250 acre sheep and beef farm just outside of Matamata. The set was actually supposed to be disassembled after The Lord of the rings trilogy was filmed but the Alexanders decided to keep the set and make it a permanent attraction of Matamata, which has successfully drawn quite the crowd!
