... kept the original survey locations although when surveyed later with better equipment it was slightly off. We walked around and went to one of the picnic areas to have a snack before the long drive home.

The last picture was the local TV weather broadcast out of Albuquerque that we came across and I could not figure if it was bring your pet to work day??

... to the North, probably Utah. Set off again but only a few miles as we wanted to go to Winslow, Arizona to stand on the corner! They've even put a statue there for people to take their photos, it's on Route 66 too. Then on to real Indian country to visit the petrified forest, quite a drive off the highway and pay €10 entrance and you drive through the most a amazing desert landscape that is littered with logs. But ...

Heading into Arizona to visit the petrified forest and Winslow. Here we go again......we visited the Petrified Forest/Painted Dessert......awesome.....quite a few pictures attached.....let me know if I am overdoing it. Carried on to "stand on the corner" ...
