      ... 220 stores in NY this one only had 65. We didn't care, so after strawberries for brekky off we went. It is a public holiday for Veteran's Day here but we had paused for our 1 minute silence last night, so we didn't give it another thought.       Before we go onto the next part of the trip, a couple of things. I like the North American toilets better than ours. When I first came here over 20 years ago, I thought the toilet was broken because it was full of water. Crazy! The department stores are playing Christmas music.       Folks back home most often ask what we miss most about land and the answer is always an easy one, THEM! During our two week visit back to New England we were able to meet up with some of our family and friends. The unfortunate thing is that we were not able to meet up with everyone we wanted to see. However, we were able to enjoy the time with the ones we did and will cherish them.
