Before we go onto the next part of the trip, a couple of things. I like the North American toilets better than ours. When I first came here over 20 years ago, I thought the toilet was broken because it was full of water. Crazy! The department stores are playing Christmas music. Next stop...Booorstiiin ...

We passed some cute farmers markets and food stands that provided ...

... s exactly how long it took us to get there, and for the first time on this trip, WE MISSED OUR TRAIN! Called amtrak and got booked onto the last train of the night leaving at 11, and went to a nearby sports bar to kill time until then. Maine was beautiful! And a joy to see our old friend Nils for the first time in over a year. Friday morning we drove to the neighboring town of Ogunquit, a picturesque coastal town with beautiful changing ...

Folks back home most often ask what we miss most about land and the answer is always an easy one, THEM! During our two week visit back to New England we were able to meet up with some of our family and friends. The unfortunate thing is that we were not able to meet up with everyone we wanted to see. However, we were able to enjoy the time with the ones we did and will cherish them.

For those we did not see, we hope to catch up ...
