The response from the large, drunk gentleman on the right, in the finest southern twang...."Are you going to put some meat in that"? I hung my head in shame went back to camp. We drove back to Memphis the next day covering some of the beautiful Natchez Trace parkway.

... lunch in Fulton, MS, and now getting supper in Dallas, TX. Our next meal will be breakfast in Sydney, AU. Hope they got good eggs and pancakes! Can't wait to try some deep fried kangaroo or whatever it is those Australians eat. This next flight is gonna be one more of a doozy. It's the longest flight in the world..literally! 17 hrs on a plane...I'll be ready to jump before we get there. Somebody call Australia and tell 'em we gonna be coming in hot!
Well, can hardly believe it ourselves but in the end we didn't leave Mercedes and the marvelous Llano Grande Park until February 21st. Four weeks easily turned into ten! – how did that happen? It was all too easy and we enjoyed it so much! Our thanks to Kevin and Lora who were great company and supported us so wonderfully – our projects, our ideas and our need to use their car!

We said our goodbyes to Fred and Sharon this morning and drove down the road 1.5 hours to Tullahoma, Tennessee. This small town is the home of the Beechcraft Heritage Museum. This museum is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Beechcraft aircraft. It is like Mecca to Dean.
