We went to Durham which is a lovely town with a lot of activity around the historic centre. We wandered up and down the uneven streets of old Durham town which has many old old buildings.
After a late lunch we decided to leave Old Durham Town. Reminds me of a Roger Whittaker song.

... silence after 22:30 so we end up in the tent just as it gets dark and I listen to the Infinite Monkey Cage for half an hour. Steve obviously goes to sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow judging by the snoring coming from his tent. Have a reasonable nights sleep with only minor interruptions of the woman in the next tent going in and out of her car all night.
