... I counted 21. Blimey what a feast they would make !!. Granny feels sorry for them, as there are no crops growing now and not much to eat. There are loads of Blue tits hanging off the feeders, what little pigs they are.!
Mr. Robin pops by daily to check that I am shut indoors then tells the others it is safe to feed here. Now as if I would ...
So after 6 months away and visiting 8 different countries, we have now arrived, reluctantly, back in England. Although its not as cold as we were expecting, which is a bonus!
We have had a fantastic time and visited some amazing places, and we are now hoping that reality doesn't hit us too hard!
Hope that you have enjoyed our blog and will probably see most of you shortly.
... to get me, I have discovered this unusual patch in the garden, this is very interesting..... shiney ground, with tiny green bits on it.....so me being extremely nosey, take a closer look.......PLOP !!!! meow meow!!!! ........I now know what a "pond" is and it can't be walked on !!!!!!! Tolleshunt Knights, England, United Kingdom roxycat... my first night in Peru, I will be doing a quick stop on the way at Houston and will try to update the blog then.
At 6 am tomorrow morning I will be meeting with 24 trekkers that will be taking part in this trip, each and everyone of us for our own charity and some for very personal reasons.
This will for me be an amazing adventure and I hope you enjoy reading about the journey.
... will be back later in the year.
Soon we arrive at Tolleshunt Knights and yes....I go charging about again, hiding and getting into everything...and I actually knocked over and broke a huge, china lamp. We continued on and left the path behind us, returning to the tougher terrain of pebbles and sand. We walked for what must have been another mile when we came across a petrified woodland, no it wasn't scared but instead preserved by the harsh ...
Well all of a sudden, I am bundled into my travel basket, with a few of my personal things. Now when I go to the vet, I don't have my toys with me !!!! Just a minute....., I remember Granny packing loads of her clothes into suitcases and getting a bit flustered sorting out lots of other things, including that precious pony going off somewhere ...

... she used in the drink was growing abundantly in her garden. The aroma from the plants was lovely.
We visited in the garden for quite a while and eventually headed in for a wonderful dinner. She had a very nice smoked mackerel pate for starters. We had a nice chicken casserole with a lovely lemon torte dessert.
It was a very nice evening and we really enjoyed her home and hospitality.
... tour. I remember being there as a teenager, but didn't take in much, and I don't know that there was as good an interpretation program at the time (www.english-heritage.org.uk). The history of the ownership includes building in the 12th century (!!), the Dukes of Norfolk (including Thomas Howard, uncle to two of Henry VIII's beheaded wives) and the importance of Suffolk, the ascension to the throne of Mary Tudor ("Bloody Mary"), and the building of ...
