    I pulled into Portland around 11 at night, and followed quina's instructions to get the light rail to the bus stop where she would meet me. My first pleasant surprise was seeing a map of the subway inside the rail, with a led display that showed the next station, plus a voice that announced it! Finally, a public transport system that wasn't a nightmare to navigate if you weren't familiar with it! I met Quina at the bus stop, and we went to her house in the suburbs ...

    ... Alex, and headed out for a night on the town. We had a great sushi dinner, and then went to a speakeasy style club/lounge called the Edison. Here we drank some classy cocktails as we watched the club's famous burlesque show.
