Hayley here. I thought I'd share an LA experience from a while ago and tell you about a hostel we stayed at. We turned up in LA and were picked up by our hostel mini van and were excited as we took in all the sights of this huge city, seeing giant sculptures, well dressed businessmen and skyscrapers out the window. We run outside, across a parking lot, across an inside parking garage then into Terminal 2 crossing 6 lanes of traffic - not at the lights - we made it and we have 1 hour until takeoff. We go in and see another very long lineup....to go through security...this is worse than the amazing race!
