... driving across a short section of the Oklahoma Panhandle, (Have you noticed how the US is 'big' on panhandles?), and all I can say for Oklahoma is I'm not sad it's not a longer drive. Kansas and Dodge City is in a state of drought. Visitor Centre said the driest in 30 years. The campground we stayed at for Watersports, was all dried up. What water there was did have some geese on it but that’s all the activity that was going on there.
