The city known for its wild side, with cowboys just off the range, famous sheriffs, like Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson now has tricycle races on main street. Stewart Plumping is this years grand champion. You must ride an adult tricycle out 100 feet round a cone and make it back to the start for your hand off. The race is a 4 man team relay.

... day. It's a 10 mile drive in a lonely (paved) road to a very desolate spot. It's not busy at all, only one other person (a photographer) is visiting this morning. I pull out my trusty pass and erase the $6 entry which puts us at $101 total park fees covered by our $80 pass - so it was a good move after all.

... of Johnny Carson. The weather has been great, only one day of rain. The terrain is pretty flat, very much like our Canadian prairies.
