We tried cheeses, saw people smoking and packaging salmon and the kids wanted to purchase some souvenirs from the German Village that also sold and repaired Cuckoo clocks. We took the soft option once again and booked a cabin for the night (even nicer than the first one) due to the late time of night, and the continuing rain. Yeah, very soft, I know, but it had been a loooong day.... We had a quick look at the ...

... is another cache hidden in the wall opposite the staircase. After a quick and easy find, we turn right, upstream. The gorge gets narrower, but also less deep. Sometimes there is a trickle of water coming down the creekbed, but mostly the water flows underground. Where it is above ground small pools form that are filled to maximum capacity with frogfish (I know they are called tadpoles in English, but I like to use some proper Dinglish every now and then).
