Autumn in Canberra

H had a conference on Emergency Medicine to attend so I tagged along to catch up on changes in Canberra and meet up with old friends from my days at ANU and cousin Hal and Glenda. I was amazingly lucky with the timing as firstly the autumn colours were outstanding, Saturday was the opening of the Museum of Democracy at Old Parliament House, and Sunday I happened across a wonderful concert at the NGA

Update - Canberra

We decided to walk to Capital Hill from our motel which was a great idea to begin with but it wasn't too long before I was trailing behind, the heat getting the better of me! We finally got there and wandered around looking at the various displays. There ...

I'll really have to go back there again some day. After a walk back to Civic to get an ice cream and use an internet cafe (the ...
