... for winter, before drinking coffee in the one main hotel. Richard, couldn't help pointing out that while we were drinking coffee, 3 men were already into the whiskey at 10.30am. ... be using English pound notes. Easy stuff for a red neck from Powell River...not! Later in the afternoon we walked to the small loch near Lynn and Paul's followed by a bike ride around Loch An Eilen. Lots of fun! Afterwards it was back for another gourmet feast of venison, haggis, scallops and celeriac (celery root) and veggies and of course wine. Incredible! To top off this perfect day in Scotland my bag arrived by courier tonight. ...
... Right when Isabel and I were both losing steam, breakfast was served in the castle and we regained our strength and danced the night away until 4 am when we sang Auld Lang Syne and got outta there. Overall, a wonderful weekend with wonderful people. I missed Dublin though! Good signs, I think.
This week should be boringboringboring as I have a couple papers to write and no money left.

... incident . We found our way to the bed and breakfast. What a lovely little house. Our rooms were nice and roomy and the owners were lovely. We rest our weary bones until tonight when we venture on to a Restaurant that was recommended to us by the owners of the b@b . The Restaurant Is packed , but we manage to find our way ( I was driving) They had live music but it was a bit crowded and noisy ...
... to the Isle of Skye. Stunning views all along the way. Skye was beautiful, and we drove across to the Western seaboard with views of the outer Hebrides. Lots of heather, lots of sheep. On the way back to Inverness, we stopped at an ancient church ruin dating back to the early 1500s. Then a stop at another loch, where our tour guide, Fiona, treated us to a brief bagpipe concert. Gram must be with us, I think, as she would be loving this! Stopped for tea & gingerbread (Gregg) ...
