    ... tables, and lunch to be served. Mike says he's in heaven. We all are, quite a treat. Lovely train with huge glass windows and glass roof mainly around us, and we just had our first latte macchiato.
    Actually reminded me of the train Lenore and Jim were on in Eastern Europe lately !!!!!!!!!

    ... third round and heavier rain saw us take refuge in The Club, for a platter lunch that stretched until the rain stopped. Further round we realised that it was a bit of an exaggeration to say that most of the route was on a bike path. About 5 kms directly beside Annecy was patched, the rest is shared with the road traffic and there was a lot of it. Made us a little nervous when the b-double tucks passed and we had no helmets on!!!!!! Had me peddling pretty fast at times, but ...

    So, though it was really nice little camp area, we had to get going fairly early, since we were trying to make it partway up a mountain before they closed the roads. As we were doing our "cross-check" before taking off, we discovered a pretty large puddle on the ground. And the puddle was growing, as it was coming out of a small clear hose under the campervan.
