... this year which daughter Chantalle arranged for me was excellent in helping me get the basics right and practice here is constantly improving my technique. Helen reckons I'm skiing particularly well considering my years, and it's true I can't say I've seen anyone else of my age on the slopes (maybe because they're more risk averse!).

Of course I stopped for some reflection on past NYEs, but the pace was such that I didn't have much of an opportunity. The night went so fast it was midnight and then 2.00 am seemingly in a flash. When we left the party was still in full swing and apparently went on until daylight.
